Darts ace hits target again 12.04.11

BRIDGEND darts ace Sean Gallagher has once again hit the target after lifting the Peter Leech Memorial Cup for the second year running.
Some of Donegal's finest dart players showed up to try and win the popular competition, now in its fourth year.
Sean had a fight all the way against Anthony Whoriskey, from Newtown and both players threw some outstanding darts in the final.
Sean took an early 4-0 lead, with a 13 dart finish, 17 darters and a 19 darter. Anthony fought back to 5-5 with top class darts (15,16 and 18 darters). The final leg saw Sean throw 140, 140 and 138 to finish the game in 16 darts with Anthony just behind him on double top.
The semi final saw Anthony Whoriskey defeat Junior Coyle

from Bridgend 5 -1 and Sean Gallagher defeat Charlie Grant from Quigley's Point 5-3. The Leech family thanked all the dart players for their support and thanked the Trawlerman Bar for hosting the competition.
