Life-savers give thanks 12.04.11

BRAVE marine rescue personnel gathered in Inishowen at the weekend for an interdenominational Service of Thanksgiving.
The crews of the Irish Coast Guard and the Lough Swilly Lifeboats were joined by local clergy and a choir from Derry for the annual service held this year at St Michael's Church, Urris, Clonmany.
Clonmany parish priest, Fr Fintan Diggan was joined in concelebration by Rev Canon Sam Barton and Rev Stanley Stewart while hymns were led by the Brow o' the Hill Christian Brothers' Past Pupils Choir. Afterwards, the group retired to the local hall in Clonmany for tea and refreshments.
