IRELAND'S largest model
whirly bird will be in Burt on Sunday as part of a
family fun activity day organised by the local
residents' group.
The model helicopter belongs to Carndonagh man Tommy
Cunningham and is about a quarter of the size of a
full scale Jet Ranger Helicopter. There will also be
lots of different model aircraft on display on the
day.

Model aircraft
enthusiasts are expected to travel from all over the
North West to at the local GAA grounds. The fun gets
underway at 2pm and will include children’s races,
bouncy castles, face painting, penalty kick
competition and crazy golf. There will also be some
market and food stalls as well as live music
throughout the day.
