Sixth DylanFest for Moville 11.07.12

THE sixth annual DylanFest Moville gets underway tomorrow with a wide range of acts appearing in a number of venues over four days.
The Stuck Inside of Moville DylanFest on Lough Foyle is Ireland’s only festival of Bob Dylan music with performers this year including Germany's Michael Moravek; The Relics of St Valentine from Dublin; String Fellas from Derry, Dutchman Egon Callery, Scotsman Billy McInnes now living in The Glenties; Englishman John Bradley now living in Buncrana and several local acts.
Festival organiser Gerry McLaughlin said: “The festival grows every year and we are hoping that this will be the best yet. People ask me if Dylan himself knows about it. I know, through Tony Bramwell, that Paul McCartney knows about our BeatlesFest in Moville but I have had no confirmation that Dylan knows of us.
Gerry McLaughlin.
However, if he ever typed in DylanFest he would see Moville’s festival come out top." Among this year's venues are Rawdons, Sean Ti in Greencastle and Rosatos with a number of outdoor gigs also planned. The festival runs from July 12 - 15.
