The 13 Blue Flags were
awarded to Lisfannon, Shroove, Culdaff, Bundoran,
Rossnowlagh, Murvagh, Fintra, Naran (Portnoo),
Carrickfinn, Killahoey (Dunfanaghy), Marblehill,
Portsalon and Downings.
The award is the "definitive international beach
award" for 46 countries and recognises cleanliness
and safety.
An Taisce has awarded a total of 85 International
Blue Flag and 56 National Green Coast Awards to
Ireland’s beaches and marinas for 2016. |
