Media revolution comes to Inishowen 07.10.10

TODAY sees the launch of a revolutionary new advertising model that will help Inishowen businesses reach thousands more customers every week.
The Inishowen Independent newspaper has joined forces with local news website InishowenNews.com in a unique collaboration that will help local traders reach a whopping 25,000 readers every week.
The exciting paper-and-internet package, from two of the strongest media performers in the region, is already generating huge interest.
Inishowen Independent sales manager, Louise McCloskey, said the new product would open up a whole new market to local businesses.
"This is a first for Inishowen and we are proud and delighted to be at the forefront of bringing this revolutionary new model to the peninsula's commercial sector.
"Advertisers already get great value for money with us in the Inishowen Independent but we are now in a position to help them get a fantastic on-line presence on Inishowen's biggest website too," she said.

These sentiments were echoed by InishowenNews.com manager, Brendan Deehan who expects the exciting new collaboration to be a massive success.
"Our website provides local businesses with the opportunity to bring their goods and services to life in new, dynamic ways such as video and animated banners. These adverts are available to readers 24/7 and are the perfect compliment to a matching advert in the Inishowen Independent.
"Essentially, the combined product we are now offering gives businesses a constant presence with local people whether they are reading the newspaper or reading online."
The Inishowen Independent and InishowenNews.com have been collaborating on news for the last three years. This is the first time, the two media outlets have joined together commercially.
As well as an already successful business directory with unrivalled positioning on Google for 'Inishowen', the new model offers retailers video, skyscraper adverts, banner adverts, button adverts and advertorials.
