Derry Mayor gets zipped up 16.11.10

MAYOR of Derry, Councillor Colum Eastwood crossed the local river in style at the weekend for Foyle Search and Rescue's Zipline Challenge.
The novel event saw hundreds of people travel at speed across the Foyle on a 1300 ft long wire, suspended 180ft in the air.
The Mayor of Derry, Cllr Colum Eastwood flies through the air with the greatest of ease during Foyle Search and Rescue's Zipline Challenge.
Cllr Eastwood thanked all the spectators, supporters and those who took part in the unique challenge.
“It was a tremendous day and an exhilarating experience, one I certainly will not forget. I would like to thank everyone who came along and supported those taking part, and those who also donated to this very worthy cause.
"In addition, I would like to pay tribute to Foyle Search and Rescue as organisers of the event, who made sure that the whole day was an incredible and safe experience for all participants," he said.
