Man Utd Legends to play Donegal 22.01.09

FINN Harps have won a major coup with the announcement of a glamour friendly against Manchester Utd Legends at their home ground in Ballybofey.
The Harps' fundraiser will be the first game in which the Legends' team will appear as an official Man Utd entity.
It will be led by the club's global ambassador Bryan Robson with former Republic of Ireland internationals Frank Stapleton, Dennis Irwin, Gary Pallister, Lee Sharpe and Clayton Blackmore also expected to feature. Harps' chairman Derek Wilkinson expressed his delight at the news.
Bryan Robson “It’s a major coup for Finn Harps to be the first club to welcome the official Manchester Utd Legends. We can assure Bryan and his team a very warm welcome to Donegal and we will be doing everything in our power to ensure a wonderful occasion for all sport fans in the North West.”
Former Finn Harps and Linfield star Anthony Gorman has more reason than most to be looking forward to playing the Red Devils.
“I was a big Man U fan growing up and to be playing against the likes of Bryan Robson and Frank Stapleton is
something I will cherish," said Anthony.
Harps will also host a 'Night with the Legends' following the match where fans can hear interviews with players and enjoy a barbeque buffet and music in their company. The big glamour friendly will take place at Finn Park, Ballybofey on Monday, March 16, 2009 with kick-off at 7.30pm. Seats €25; adult terrace €20 and concession €10. Tickets for the after-match party at Jackson's Hotel cost €25. Tickets for both match and party can be bought in Inishowen at Mac's Newsagents, Buncrana and Doherty's Newsagents, Carndonagh.
