Award for tireless Culdaff campaigner 09.01.09

AN Inishowen campaigner and a local radio station will today be recognised for their work in promoting safety on the roads of Donegal.
Highland Radio and PARC founder Susan Gray from Culdaff will receive their Leading Lights Road Safety awards from the Road Safety Authority (RSA) in the station's Letterkenny offices at lunchtime.
The RSA will present nine inaugural awards to people from community groups, companies, industry groups and schools for promoting road safety around the county during the month of December. Highland Radio will be honoured with the overall or ‘Supreme Award’.
Donegal Road Safety Working Group chairman, Stephen Lambert said: "We are delighted that Highland Radio and particularly Charlie Collins, have been recognised for their contribution to improving road safety in the county.

Meanwhile, Ms Gray whose husband Stephen was killed in a road collision four years ago, has been recognised for her dedication to road safety awareness in his memory.
