SF deliver thousands of newspapers 17.04.07

Tens of thousands of newspapers have been delivered by Sinn Fein to homes in Donegal as part of the party's drive to win two seats in the next general election.
And the party says it will "further engage" with the people of the county in the run up to the forthcoming poll, about their "powerful agenda for change".

An estimated 500 Republicans from across the North West gathered on Sunday to launch the joint election campaigns of Cllr. Padraig MacLochlainn in Donegal North East and Cllr Pearse Doherty in Donegal South West.
"We believe we have now strongly positioned ourselves as a party that can deliver for Donegal at national level,"
Some of the delegates who attended the Donegal Sinn Fein election launch on Sunday.
said Cllr. MacLochlainn.
He said the party was confident of creating a sea-change in Donegal politics.
"Sinn Féin is confident of changing the face of Donegal politics forever with the election of Pearse Doherty in Donegal South West and myself in Donegal North East.
"If successful, we will join our existing Sinn Féin Ministers, MPs, MLAs, MEP and councillors to form a powerful political grouping fighting for Donegal and the North West," he added.
The North's Deputy First Minister designate Martin McGuinness, MP, MLA, officially launched the campaign and delivered the keynote address at Jackson's Hotel, Ballybofey on Sunday.
Delegates heard that Sinn Fein was now the only all-Ireland party.
The Buncrana based town and county councillor said:
"We are ready for Government and we are ready to implement our policies for an Ireland of equals."
