Life's a beach for Moville kids

LIFE'S a beach in
Moville for young GAA and soccer players who are
taking part in a unique venture to keep them fit and
healthy.
The joint undertaking, between the underage coaches
of Moville GAA Club And Moville Celtic F.C., got
underway last Sunday morning on the beach at Shroove. |

Liam Skelly explained:
"The purpose is to improve the fitness and stamina
of all the kids in a fun and relaxing atmosphere.
"The emphasis is totally on fun and, at the same
time, improving the kids' fitness levels."
The children spent a full hour on Sunday running
around the beach, up and down the sand dunes and all
with big smiles on their faces.
"Then it was into the tide for a well-deserved
cooling off, to help relax any aches and pains,"
added Liam. The fun sessions will continue every
Sunday morning at Shroove Beach at 10am. |
