THE, er, tea was
flowing in Inishowen this morning after a lucky
syndicate learned they had won last night's whopping
€4.9m Lotto jackpot.
The happy 13 who work together at Forward Emphasis
International in Malin Head will get a whopping
€375,000 each.
The winning syndicate members are Marie McLaughlin,
Linda McDaid, Dinny Bradley, Liam Bradley, Ann Marie
Jordan, Anna McKinney, Marie Doherty, Helen Doherty,
Mara McElhinney, Kelly McMonagle, Patricia Quigley,
Claire McElhinney and Amanda McFadden. As four of
their winning numbers and the bonus also turned up
in the Lotto Plus One selection, the 13 will also
share an added €35 - or €2.70 each! The winning
numbers in the top draw were all in the double
digits: 19, 25, 26, 27, 39, 45, and the bonus was
42.
A thrilled Amanda McFadden told Highland Radio's
Shaun Doherty that they were enjoying the start of
their celebrations over a cup of tea in The Loaf
cafe in Carndonagh this morning as it would be
difficult to find any place to serve them Champagne
