PEOPLE in Carndonagh
are being given the opportunity to get involved in
the design of a new public art piece for the town.
The piece will be created with peace funding as part
of celebrations for the 100th anniversary of the
local Colgan Hall.
Several public information and hands-on creative
workshops will be held to involve everyone in
sharing views, ideas and opinions.
The workshops will comprise a presentation about the
project followed by refreshments.
"All information gathered from the workshops will be
given to the funders and then the chosen artist,"
said a spokesperson.
"If for any reason you can not attended any of these
workshops but still wish to share your ideas, we
have an area in (Carn) Library for this. We will
also collect and include your input from there." All
workshops will be held in the Colgan Hall.
Dates as follows:
Friday, September 26 from 7.30pm – 9.30pm
Saturday, September 27 from 10.30am – 12.30
