Weather alert: Coastal flooding
expected
31.01.14
DONEGAL County Council
is once again urging members of the public to take
extra care this weekend with extreme weather
conditions forecasted for the next few days.
There is potential for high coastal flood risks due
to very high spring tides, high waves, low pressure
and onshore winds.
Members of the public are being asked to exercise
caution particularly in areas adjacent to the
coastline and areas which are susceptible to coastal
flooding. In particular we are urging people to stay
away from seawalls and coastal areas during high
seas and high tides. |

needs basis from the Councils depots throughout the
county. You can also contact the Council during
business hours at 074 91 53900.
The Council will continue to monitor conditions and
