THE TOUR for Shaun
cycle got underway in the last hour in Galway with
hardy participants aiming to pedal to Inishowen
within three days.
Friends, family and well wishers cheered the group
on this morning as they began their fundraiser in
glorious sunshine. |

The tour has been
organised by friends of Clonmany man Shaun Doherty
who is undergoing treatment for cancer. They have
already smashed the €20,000 fundraising mark for two
charities who have been supporting Shaun through his
treatment, namely the Friends of St Luke's Hospital
and the Bone Marrow for Leukaemia Trust at St
James's Hospital.
