YOUTUBER and Blue Peter
presenter Adam Beales has joined with Mayor of Derry
City and Strabane District Council, Cllr Brian Tierney,
in issuing a social media video appeal to the young
people of North West to do everything they can to stop
the spread of Covid-19.
Known as Adam B online, the 20-year-old has almost three
million subscribers on his YouTube channel and recently
made his debut as Blue Peter's 40th presenter in the
show's illustrious history. |

Mayor Tierney said that he
was delighted to have the support of such an inspiring
and positive role model for the young people within the
district and around the world, and added that he was
hopeful that they would heed Adam's message to protect
their family and friends by following the guidelines and
doing their best to flatten the curve. |
