launch in Buncrana
11.11.21
SEAMUS Browne, of Browne
Printers in Letterkenny, has decided to re-publish and
print a book, free of charge, to commemorate 50 years in
the printing business. The book is called 'Romantic
Stories and Legends of Donegal' by Harry Percival Swan.
The author lived at Ardeelan House, Buncrana and passed
away in 1970.
Seamus said: "When I took over the printing business of
Barr & Son Printers in 1990, I also acquired copyright
rights of all publications. The book is a collection of
poems, folklore and stories about Donegal from days gone
by.
All proceeds raised from the sale of the book will be
donated to Pieta House, a charity very close to many
people’s hearts, including my own." |
