Colourful book
introduces Eco Crow
27.04.23
CHILDREN in Inishowen have
a feathered friend to help them learn about the
environment.
A new book tells the story of Eco Crow, a litter-picking
superhero who swoops to collect waste in his beak. |
The pocket-size book has
been created and illustrated by an Inishowen artist
under the pen name Mill Clarke.
It was produced by Moville and District Family Resource
Centre with assistance from Donegal County Council. The
resource centre is in the process of distributing 300
copies to junior classes - four and five year olds - in
the area.
The colourful hardback reveals how Hubert became Eco
Crow, the brave environmental hero. He hopes
that the small book, which has space for the children to
scribble and draw, will inspire young readers to do the
same. |
