Adult Literacy
Resources at Buncrana Library
27.03.25
DONEGAL Library Service
are delighted to announce the launch of a suite of
resources which aim to help adults improve their English
language skills. They cover reading, writing, grammar
and comprehension.
Each workbook contains activities which can be completed
as you read the book of the same title. There are
multiple copies of these books available and groups in
Inishowen are invited to set up book clubs and use these
workbooks to further develop their literacy skills.
Some of the titles are particularly relevant to ESOL
(English for Speakers of Other Languages) students.
The resources will be launched in Buncrana Library on
Wednesday, 2nd April, at 11am by Cllr Jack Murray,
Cathaoirleach of Inishowen Municipal District. Members
of the public are welcome to attend the launch, which is
one of the many activities taking place as part of the
One Donegal Social Inclusion Week. |
