Exploris One
anchors off Greencastle
26.05.25
EXPLORIS One cruise ship
anchored off Greencastle on Saturday. The vessel left
Dun Laoghaire on Friday, 23rd May and arrived in
Greencastle at 12:30 the next day.
This expedition ship's shallow draft allows it to
navigate in areas that larger ships would not be able to
access and whilst cruising, the vessel benefits from
spacious deck areas from where the 120 passengers
onboard may watch for passing wildlife and admire the
beautiful scenery.
Expedition and exploration are the fastest-growing
sectors of cruise tourism, a trend that is clearly
reflected in the calls to Foyle Port, with 65% of
visiting cruise ships classed as luxury expedition
vessels. |
