Star Legend cruise yacht visits Lough Foyle 04.06.25

THE Star Legend cruise yacht anchored off Greencastle today. Passengers from the vessel were ferried to the pier at Magilligan Point by tender boats where coaches waited to bring them on guided tours of the North West.

Star Legend is currently on а 18 day cruise, one-way from Lisbon to Leith-Edinburgh.
The ship departed from Lisbon, Portugal on May 23 and visited Ferrol in Spain, Bordeaux, Belle-Ile-en-Mer and Saint-Malo in France, Dublin and Isle of Man, before arriving today in Lough Foyle. It is due to leave this evening for the Isle of Mull in Scotland.
Star Legend anchored off Greencastle today, 4th June 2025.
Serving just 312 guests, Star Legend is small enough to offer unique experiences, yet large enough for you to not feel over crowded.

This intimate all-suite yacht features spacious, ocean-view accommodations, each with a walk-in closet and updated double-vanity bathroom. On board, you’ll find a fully equipped fitness centre, a spa with complimentary sauna, an infinity pool, two full-service bars, on-deck hot tubs, a water-access marina platform and much more.
From gourmet bites at the Yacht Club Café to 24-hour room service and even specialty restaurants, the award-winning cuisine is complimentary, allowing guests to indulge freely and relax on their voyage.
Cruise ships set to anchor off Greencastle in 2025 include Europa on 23rd July, Island Sky on 13th August, Seven Seas Grandeur on 21st August and Crystal Serenity on 9th September.
