by Linda McGrory

BIG-HEARTED bikers from Inishowen have clocked up a whopping €9,000 with a charity spin for two local hospices.
Led by 'Doyle's Angels' from Greencastle, the 46 bikers recently headed off on a 140-mile journey to raise money for the Donegal Hospice and Foyle Hospice.
Owen Doyle said he was delighted with the outcome of the event that raised just over €9027 for the two organisations.
"We had 46 bikers turn up on the day. Most of them were from Inishowen but we also had a couple of bikes from Derry and a couple of Gold Wings who travelled up from Sligo.
"We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who took part in the run and everyone who contributed locally and further afield. We were delighted with the amount raised for the two hospices," said Owen.
The bikers revved out of Greencastle at 10am on Sunday, March 14, and made their first pit-stop for breakfast supplied by Doherty's at Hilltop, Letterkenny. They travelled onwards to Carrigart and were delighted with their spin across
