Ballroom of Romance in Plaza 05.02.10
LOVE will be in the air
later this month when a local charity hosts the
Ballroom of Romance for Valentine's Day in the
Plaza, Buncrana.
Inishowen Children's Autism Related Education (iCARE)
are getting ready for their glitzy fundraiser on
Saturday, February 13, 2010. There will be a
champagne reception, a "lorra, lorra" fun with a
Blind Date contest and music by well known local
band Purple Hill and DJ Gary Rocks.
Some local dancers will also be there choreographed
by Claire McGlinchey.
Raffle prizes include a Manchester United jersey
signed by Ryan Giggs, Millenium Forum Tickets, an 02
Mobile Phone, Pink tickets, Gino Vouchers and many
more. |
Organisers of the event
are Stephen Fitzpatrick, Majella McGlinchey, Susan
McGrory-Kelly, Liam Gill, Rory Kelly, Kevin McColgan,
Donal Kearney and Seamus Benson who promise the
night will be fun filled with great surprises in
store for all. They also thanked Elaine McMenamin
for designing their great looking poster.
Doors open at 10.15pm and the champagne reception
will be served until 12am. This will be a night
strictly for over 18s and ID will be required. Dress
code is smart/casual. Tickets are on sale at Scoil
Iosagain,Scoil Mhuire, The Cruskeen, O'Flahertys and
Bill the Lieu's Bar. The organisers strongly

holders will be given priority. Admission is €10,
with admission to the cocktail bar upstairs €12.
Monies raised on the night will go to Scoil Iosagain
