Motivating staff in the recession

A MOVILLE-based human
resources consultant will deliver a free workshop
for Donegal businesswomen tackling the negative
effects of the recession.
The 'Motivation and the Recession' workshop will be
conducted by Joan Heaney in Gallagher's Hotel,
Letterkenny, on Tuesday, September 8, from 9.30am to
11am. |

Hosted by the Donegal
Women in Business Network, the workshop will offer
advice on how to keep your staff motivated when
lay-offs, unemployment and the credit crunch is
dominating the headlines.
"In the workshop we will highlight the many warning
signs of declining employee motivation and what we
can do to shift our focus to survive," says Joan, a
senior human resources practitioner for over 20
years.
The workshop is the first event in the Donegal Women
in Business Network’s Autumn schedule. The schedule
will also include a sales and marketing workshop on
October 8 and one entitled ‘Developing a Business
Plan’ on November 10. To register for the free
