World cancer expert to visit

WORLD breast cancer
specialist Professor Laszio Tabar will speak at a
community lecture in Donegal early next month,
Donegal Action for Cancer Care (DACC) has announced. |
The public talk by the
Swedish cancer expert has been organised by
Letterkenny General Hospital's new breast surgeon Mr
Michael Sugrue to give the people of Donegal a
first-hand account of the latest advances in
diagnosis and treatments. "Please do your best to
support this lecture as this opportunity may not
come around for a long time to come," said a DACC
spokesperson.
Professor Tabar is the author of a number of books
on the subject of breast cancer including 'Breast

Science of Early
Detection With Mammography' with Dr Peter B. Dean.
The public talk will take place on Monday, September
8 in the Radisson SAS Hotel, Letterkenny, at 7pm and
everyone is most welcome. Admission is free. |
