Gleneely girl wins car 06.05.08

The winners of the
Carrowmena FC Grand Draw with a top prize of a brand
new car were announced on Sunday. Lucky Shannon
McCauley, Moneydaragh, Gleneely, scooped the brand
new Mitsubishi Colt. |

It’s understood,
however, that Shannon is only five years old so
unless they reduce the legal driving age sometime
soon, it’s likely she’ll be chauffeured around by
her delighted parents for some time to come.

second prize of €2,000 and Danny Reddy, |
Bredagh Glen, Moville
picked up third prize of a two-night luxury break in
an executive suite at Harvey's Point Hotel. Fourth
prize winner Breege Caufield, Ballyargus, Redcastle,
scooped €500 cash while B. Quinn, Carrowreagh,
Carndonagh, won 500 litres of home heating oil. The
remaining ten runners-up received great prizes
ranging from a tonne of coal to shopping vouchers
and a mountain bike.
