Priest's charity fast
raises €30,000

A Buncrana priest who
undertook a 24-hour fast at Christmas has so far
raised a whopping €30,000.
Fr. Eddie McGuinness embarked on a day-long to raise
money for the hungry in developing countries. He is
currently visiting orphanages and disaster areas in
Asia and hopes to give a detailed report of his
visit when he returns. The €30,000 raised so far
does not include contributions made to the
fundraiser through local schools. |
