MEN, women and children
from Inishowen are being sought for a new film due
to begin shooting in the peninsula in May and June.
The film-makers are looking for people of all ages
for a range of paid roles in the €6m movie 'A Shine
of Rainbows'.
Open auditions will take place in the Colgan Hall,
Carndonagh, on Monday, April 7 and Tuesday, April 8
from 10am to 7pm.
"We need women aged 20 to 70; men aged 40 to 70 and
children aged 7 to 12," said a film spokesperson.
"All the roles will be paid. Several of the roles
will be significant with quite a lot of dialogue and
we want local people for them," the spokesperson
added.
'A Shine of Rainbows' is a heart-warming story of a
lonely orphan whose life is transformed by a woman
who teaches him to "conquer grief and discover the
magic in nature and himself”. |
