POPULAR singer and
recording artist James Kilbane will take to the
stage in Buncrana later this month for a concert to
raise funds for the local parish.
The organisers say the concert on June 23 will be
"an exceptional night of great country Irish and (Kilbane's)
popular Gospel music". |
|
This event is being
held to raise funds for renovations to Cockhill
Church and for Buncrana parish general funds.
"Renovations to Cockhill church have begun and
extensive work is underway to the church interior
with the repairs being completed over the coming
months," explained a spokesperson.
James Kilbane is no stranger to Inishowen and
Donegal following
|
his big concert in the
local hall two years ago and his performances at the
RNLI fundraiser concerts in Buncrana over the years.
"James is looking forward to returning to St. Mary’s
Hall with his band and the audience can look forward
to a variety of music from all his country, Irish
and Gospel albums. A James Kilbane event is always
warm and uplifting experience with a difference."
The night will feature favourites from the Mayo
singer's past and recent albums. The concert takes
place on Monday, June 23 at 8pm. Early booking is
advised as tickets are moving fast. You can get them
directly from Danny at St. Mary’s Hall, Buncrana on
