THE funeral took place
yesterday of James Rafferty who died tragically in
the Burnfoot area last week. Mr. Rafferty who was 42
years old had been missing since April 5. His
remains were discovered on Thursday around 8pm in
the Coillte forest, Gortnaskee, by a man out helping
in the search. Gardai ruled out foul play in the
tragedy. Mr. Rafferty of Beragh Hill Road, Derry,
was buried in the City Cemetery following 11.30am
