The purpose of High Achievers is to encourage GAA
football players to catch the ball at their maximum
height.
As coaches, Gerard and Patrick Gallagher were well
aware of the number of young players unable to jump
and catch the ball at their maximum height. This is
why they invented the High Achievers device.
The
best way to use High Achievers is to take 4 to 6
players out of a session, work with them for 15
minutes and return them to the group. This device
will build confidence in players as the height in
which the ball is caught is measurable from session
to session.
