Tambourines at the ready.. 20.06.07

Moville is expecting large crowds at the end of the month for Ireland's first ever DylanFest.
The inaugural three-day festival kicks off on Friday, June 29th until Sunday, July 1st, with Dylan fans and music lovers expected to travel from throughout the North West and further afield for the event.
Organiser Gerry McLaughlin, has managed to pull off a number of coups for the first festival, not least the signing up of Finbarr Clancy for the event.
"Finbarr, who played with his father Bobby and uncle Paddy in the Clancy Brothers after Liam Clancy left, has been booked to play on the Saturday along with his cousin.
"I've been surprised at how many acts just want to to come and be part of the DylanFest for expenses only," said Gerry.
Most of the music will take place in the local

pubs with at least one street band performing on the Saturday night and possibly another outdoor gig on the Friday night.
“Belgium's top Dylan covers band, The New Fools, will open the festival on Friday night in The Square, Moville. Friday night will have the title 'Come Gather Round People', the Saturday night will be themed 'Stuck inside of Moville' while the finale will be called 'No Direction Home'," he said. Dylan bands and acts from Britain, Belgium, France and all over Ireland, not forgetting Inishowen and Moville's homegrown talent, have been booked to appear.
Already, a large number of pubs in the Foyleside town have signed up as venues with others expected to follow.
"The Moville people, as always, will make their guests very welcome. The festival needs more Dylan performers as there is a big demand from the pubs, so anyone who plays Dylan music professionally should get in touch," added Gerry. For more information log on to www.MySpace.com/DylanFest .
