Glenveagh staff visit Dáil

STAFF from Donegal's
national park were invited guests recently at Dáil
Eireann.
More than 30 of the workers from Glenveagh National
Park were treated to a special tour of Leinster
House. |
They were hosted by
local representatives including Donegal North East
T.D., Deputy Niall Blaney and Minister of State, Pat
'The Cope' Gallagher.
Glenveagh is a jewel in Donegal's crown. It was
built between 1870 and |

1873 spans 40,873 acres
of mountains, lakes, glens and woods. It also plays
host to a herd of native red deer.
It also boasts a Scottish-style castle and is
surrounded by one of the most beautiful gardens in
Ireland.
It receives thousands of visitors a year and
includes a visitor centre complete with audio-visual
shows and exhibits.
Visitor Centre is accessible for visitors with
disabilities.

Visitors can also enjoy morning and afternoon teas
in the Castle tearooms and the building has
disability access. |
