Clare man wins luxury Inishowen house 18.04.07

It may be a long way from Clare to here…but that won't bother Leon McMahon who has won a four-bedroom luxury house in Inishowen.
The 25-year old from Ennis, scooped the top prize in the Drumfries Community Centre Association grand draw on Saturday night.
He was stunned when a member of the committee rang him to say his €20 ticket had been picked out and that he was now the proud owner of 33 Cherry Avenue, Tiernaleague, Carndonagh.

"My horse fell in Saturday's Grand National and I was just saying to people how I had no luck at all. I'm really gob smacked about the whole thing," he said.
Leon, who rents in Dublin where he works for the ESB, is planning a trip to Inishowen this weekend to get the keys to his new property.
Leon McMahon's new luxury dream home.
He will no doubt have hours of pleasure wondering what he'll do with his beautiful new place.
At 1550 square feet including garage, the house, built by GDC Property Developers Ireland Ltd., is beautifully designed and finished. It comes with a fitted kitchen including fridge freezer and dishwasher, broadband enabled telephone points and fitted fireplace, to name just some of the extras.
Meanwhile, the hardworking 20-strong committee raised a total of €370,000 euro from the fundraiser and with the house costing them a discounted rate of €200,000, they now have €170,000 to spend building a much-needed youth and community centre for the children of Drumfries. They thanked everyone in Inishowen who bought tickets and helped them reach their target.
Five further winners of €100 euro each were Brid and David O'Brien, Burnfoot; Darren McKeever, Muff; Charlene Donnelly; Ann, Marion and Dennis Duggan from Scotland and Ivan Thompson from Kesh in Co. Fermanagh.
