A GROUP of American
artists on retreat in the peninsula held an
exhibition of their 'Inishowen' works yesterday.
The 'Medicine Wheel'
painters and sculptors showed their creations at
Norris' Lodge near Moville Pier. The show included a
range of work including oils, watercolours and
sculptures inspired by the Inishowen landscape and
culture.
Retreat leader and Medicine Wheel founder Michael
Dowling said "Donegal provided such rich inspiration
for the group, they
were delighted with
what they created here.
"They're all talking about coming back again next
year."
