Quigley's Point hosts
Kindergarten expert
28.09.07
AN early years
specialist in the Steiner method will give a talk
and workshop in the peninsula next month.
‘Nurturing the Sensory Sensitivity in the Young
Child’ by Dot Male, is the second in the 'Creating a
Happy Childhood' series of talks and workshops
organised by Inishowen Kindergarten. |
|
Dot Male first
discovered Rudolf Steiner’s work when her son was
one year old. At this time she trained as a
Kindergarten teacher and worked with other parents
to establish a new Kindergarten initiative in her
home in Lancaster. "Moving to York where her son
attended the Steiner school, she began to run
workshops for parents. She created a course entitled
‘The |
First Three Years’
which has been successful in both York and London,"
said an Inishowen Kindergarten spokesperson.
The local event will be held on Saturday, October
20th, 2007, from 10am to 1pm at Greenbank Hall near
Quigley’s Point. It will be a unique opportunity for
the parents of young children and childcare
professionals to learn more about the Steiner
method.
To book, call 074 93 74557 or 074 93 78612. Lunch is
optional. The seminar is part funded by Inishowen
Partnership. For more information about the
