Major expansion for Moville

A BUSINESS park in
Moville is set for a major expansion following a
funds boost of €99,000. |

Glencrow Business Park
is currently home to ten companies including a
pottery, a clothes manufacturer and the maker of
components for hot tubs. Now the park, run by the
North East Inishowen Tourist Development Company
Ltd., is set to expand with a further four 1,000sq
ft units thanks to the €99,000 grant from the
Donegal County |
Enterprise Fund.
The not-for-profit organisation has been involved in
many projects in the Moville area for the last
number of years.
North East Inishowen Tourist Development Company
Ltd., chairman, Leo McCauley said the group was
delighted with the funding boost.
"This is testimony to the success of Glencrow
Business Park to date. |
Our aim is to provide
around four more much-needed start-up units for
local indigenous companies," said Mr. McCauley.
The organisation's other work to date includes the
restoration of the Cornstore building at Bath
Terrace, Moville, that has been converted into five
self-catering apartments. It has also co-ordinated
five successive Fás/Community Employment Schemes and
runs its own community website
www.movilleinishowen.com . It is also exploring
the feasibility of a building a marina at
Carrickarory, Moville.

yesterday by Enterprise Minister, Micheal Martin.
“It is refreshing to see such voluntary drive being
recognised in the form of the support announced
today.
"I commend all those involved in the company and I
have no doubt that the funding received will enable
the group to continue their hard work, ” said
Senator Keaveney. |
