MORE than 30 new homes
are to be built in Muff following a major cash
injection of €4.5m. |

It was confirmed
yesterday that the funds have been allocated for a
voluntary housing project in the border village to
build homes for older people and a number of
families.
Donegal North East T.D., Deputy Niall Blaney
welcomed the monies allocated by the Department of
Local Government to the Muff Sheltered Housing
Association. |
“This substantial
funding will provide for 31 units of accommodation
and associated communal facilities in Muff,” he
explained.
“The accommodation is being provided by the Muff
Sheltered Housing Association in co-operation with
Donegal County Council and will facilitate elderly
people and families.
“This is a significant boost to the Muff area and I
wish the Muff Sheltered Housing Association
continued success with the project.”
Association treasurer Patsy Walsh said the funding
would help ease the housing problems in the Muff
area. |
